Greg Shpytkovsky
President & CEO
Greg brings over 25 years of extensive industry-related experience to West Rock Energy as a result of managing the demands of an extremely busy drilling and completions department. This includes all operations related to the surface lease acquisition, well site construction, ERCB approvals, drilling, completion, reclamation and abandonment operations. His expertise includes critical sour drilling & completions, foothills drilling, horizontal, directional and re-entry drilling technologies as well as ERCB Guide 56 regulations. He also has a strong understanding of pipeline installations, production optimization, reservoir interpretation and property evaluations. Greg is an efficient, highly experienced, well organized and a business-minded professional who is committed to his role as President & Chief Executive Officer.
Ryan Ganske
Vice President & COO
Ryan brings over 17 years of industry-related experience to West Rock Energy. He has a diverse background which includes planning and implementing drilling, completions, workover and abandonment operations within the oil and gas industry. Ryan gained valuable experience working for a large oil & gas company for over seven years in an extremely fast paced environment. His specialties include large drilling and completion projects, directional work, technical completions, workovers and abandonments. Ryan is knowledgeable, organized and has strong interpersonal skills which provides a solid foundation for his role as Vice President & Chief Operating Officer.
Jason Dumanowski, C.E.T
Vice President, Operations
Jason brings over 15 years of industry-related experience to West Rock Energy. He has a wide range of experience in the oil and gas industry which includes engineering as well as the supervision of drilling and completion projects in Western Canada. In addition, Jason has extensive field production experience which he gained after completing his secondary schooling. Jason is extremely personable and has proven to be reliable and trustworthy within the industry. His theoretical and hands-on knowledge along with commitment to self-development continues to make him successful in his role as Vice President of Operations.
Matthew Gillett, P.Eng
Vice President, Engineering
Matthew brings over nine years of industry-related experience to West Rock Energy. He has a wide range of experience in overseeing large drilling projects within Western Canada, specifically in horizontal and directional wells. Matthew is organized, professional and detail oriented. He is highly committed to West Rock Energy's clients and consistently follows through on projects from beginning to end which makes him successful in his role as Vice President of Engineering.
Mike Scheuerman
Project Manager, Drilling & Completions
Mike brings over 30 years of industry-related engineering experience to West Rock Energy, with over 20 years of field operations and 13 years of office operations within downtown Calgary. Through his experience, he has developed excellent interpersonal and communication skills which ensures operations run smoothly and efficiently between the field & office personnel. His technical background includes experience in completions, production, exploitation and drilling operations. He also has an excellent understanding of down hole and surface asset development and optimization along with knowledge of global operations for medium and large producers. Mike is extremely personable and enjoys working within a team environment that is fast paced and allows for continuous problem solving, making him a real asset to West Rock Energy as a Project Manager.
Curtis Dillabough
Project Manager & Field Coordinator
Curtis brings over five years of industry-related experience to West Rock Energy. He has a wide range of field and office experience in both programming and the supervising of wellsite operations. Curtis has been involved in drilling, completions, workovers, abandonments & reclamation projects allowing him to plan and execute projects effectively. His excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail provides a solid foundation for his role as West Rock Energy’s Project Manager & Field Coordinator.
Rob Lougheed
Project Manager
Rob brings over seven years of industry-related experience to West Rock Energy with over four years spent in the field in the areas of fracturing and wireline. In addition, he also spent the last three years working for ERCB where he was involved with Drilling and Completions in the Well Operation Group. Rob is extremely personable, works well in a fast paced environment and has strong problem solving skills. Having experience in both a field and office setting provides a solid foundation for his role as Project Manager.
Garnet McCann,
President, West Rock Oilfield Contracting Inc.
Garnet and West Rock Energy Consultants Ltd. is excited to be spearheading a new company called West Rock Oilfield Contracting Inc, with Garnet overseeing all operations as President. Garnet brings over 14 years of industry-related experience, specifically in the areas of management as well as the supervision of well, facility & pipeline operations. Garnet is organized, personable and is highly committed to West Rock Oilfield’s clients and operators, always ensuring that projects are completed from beginning to end and in a timely manner.
Jaime Bryant-Krausert
Engineering Technician
Jaime brings over 11 years of industry-related experience to West Rock Energy. She is responsible for all Alberta and Saskatchewan governmental reporting, inclusive of well licencing, and all drilling, completion, recompletion, re-entry, workover and abandonment WR submissions. Jaime prides herself on her prompt and efficient manner in assisting West Rock Energy's Project Managers, consultants and clients with any queries and concerns they may have.
Viviane van Vuure
Sales Respresentative
Viviane is our newest member to join the West Rock Energy team and brings over three years of broadcasting, marketing and customer service experience. She is excited to be spearheading our sales department and will be responsible for providing sales and service to our existing clients as well as solidifying new business opportunities. Viviane is committed to providing our clients with the highest level of quality service and solutions to fit their ongoing needs. She is extremely personable, detail oriented and customer service driven which will bring her much success in her role as Sales Representative.
Liz Williamson
Accounting/Office Manager
Liz has over four years of industry-related experience and brings over 10 years of experience in customer service, recruitment, sales & marketing as well as office operations. In her role, she oversees our accounting department and is dedicated to ensuring the departments run smoothly and efficiently. Liz is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient which provides a solid foundation for her role as Accounting/Office Manager.
Jessica Rodrigues
Junior Accounting Clerk
Jessica has just over a year of industry-related experience. She also brings over three years of administrative and customer service experience to West Rock Energy. As Junior Accounting Clerk, she is responsible for processing invoices and arranging payment for all of West Rock Energy’s field consultants. In addition, she also provides administrative support within the office. Jessica’s excellent attention to detail along with her strong interpersonal skills ensures that our customers and clients receive the highest level of customer service.
